Bernard Schaffer

Bernard Schaffer is an American author best known for writing the award winning non-fiction book,Way of the Warrior: The Philosophy of Law Enforcement. That book is an in-depth look at the offers insight into why cops operate the way they do and has been used in police training. The book is also taught in universities and police academies around the world. In addition to that book, Schaffer has also written extensively in fiction including the acclaimedSantero and Rein Thrillerseries that focuses on detective Carrie Santero and her mentor, the troubled Jacob Rein. That series began withThe Thief of All Lightwhich was released in 2018.
