Ashley Weaver

Ashley Weaver is an Edgar Award-nominated bestselling author from America, who is famous for writing mystery, suspense, and thriller books. She is particularly well known for writing the Amory Ames mystery series. In addition to being a popular author of mystery books, Weaver also works as the branch manager of the Allen Parish Libraries. She is stationed at Oberlin, which is the headquarters branch of the library system in Louisiana. Author Weaver says that she has been working in libraries since the age of 14 and has enjoyed her time in each of the libraries that she has worked. Weaver has also worked as a page and a clerk for some time before going on to become a prominent novelist. Prior to the start of her writing career, author Weaver obtained her MLIS from the Louisiana State University. Her job profile at the APL in Oberlin, Louisiana is that of a Technical Services Coordinator. As of today, she resides in Oakdale, Louisiana, and spends most of her time writing mystery novels and stories. Author Weaver is well known for creating the character of Amory Ames, who features in her mystery series as an amateur detective. The other important character that author Weaver has created is that of Milo Ames, who is Amory’s husband and her occasional help in solving the crime in the city. The series is set in England during the time of the 1930s.
