Andrew Grant is an England-based writer and novelist, who writes mostly in the suspense and thriller genre. His first novel series revolved around the life of a spy David Trevellyan. Grant is the younger brother of Lee Child, who himself is a well-known and bestselling author of the thriller genre. Andrew was born in the year 1968 Birmingham, England. He attended the St. Albans school in Hertfordshire and later, graduated in Drama and English Literature from the University of Sheffield. After graduating, Andrew founded a theater-art company producing theater plays. The theater company successfully appeared at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. As a result, he left the theater and started working for a telecommunication company, where he spent almost fifteen years. Later, he left that too, and decided to become a novelist. He has written three novels in the David Trevellyan series till now. He has become successful right from his first novel, which received high ratings from Publishers Weekly and Library Journal. Grant lives in still lives in Sheffield and frequently travels between Chicago and Sheffield for his novel-relate works. He married Tasha Alexander in the year 2010.
